So now Auntie L learns how to use the “actual size” option on her iPhone camera email dealie, hoping this means the photos can be big enough that you can actually see them. On the table, for example, can you see the rope detail that I glued onto the top? It was unfinished, and I just used up a bunch of Restoration Hardware greenish sample paint tins to “antique” it.
This white chest came from a neighbor’s moving sale for $25, only it wasn’t white yet. It is now. The chandelier was deeply discounted at Lamps Plus when I stumbled in there one day. I told you I have a lamp problem.
On top of the chest, that’s Aunt Frostie, plus (another) one of me on Lace.
The rose encaustic painting, I won in a drawing at the Pescadero Art and Fun Festival a couple of years ago. And, yes, of course I stuffed the box! The painting is by Susan Friedman, another local artist who is most famous for her horse art.
My horse lamp came from a school tag sale for $5 plus the shade and, of course, white paint.
